CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.
For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.
Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2013 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.
One day, out of nowhere, the TPMS, traction control, power steering, ABS, FCW, LDW, and red BRAKE light turned on in the dashboard, and not turn off. I didn't notice any difference in driving or starting the car, but it did get annoying seeing all the lights constantly on in my face. After searching, this ended up being a failure of the ABS module (computer side) because their soldering was poor from the factory. I've seen people complain about calling Honda to get the entire module replaced, which put them on a 4+ month long wait list, along with a 4 figure repair bill. Find a local ABS repair shop, they'll typically get it rebuilt within a week and costed me around $300 for the labor. Honda, do better on your soldering from assemble.
