CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford changed a lot of things for its 3rd generation, just none of them were a good idea.
The transmission tends to hesitate and jerk when accelerating. The new electronically-driven power steering can fail suddenly and without warning. Even Ford's SYNC can be a headache. Actually, scratch that last one — it's always been a headache.

After getting my routine 15,000 mi. service at the Ford Dealership, I began getting an alert and Brake Light displaying "Brake Fluid Low Service Now."
So I drove right back to the dealership and had then check out the brakes again, as well as fluid level. Brakes were fine, fluid did need a top off. Drove off happy.
That same afternoon, I got the notification again along with the Brake light. As the days went by, I noticed the light would come on when I was both parked or driving downhill.
Took another trip to the dealership, yay. Reported the issue, and after 8 hours of them having my car, nothing seemed wrong, fluid was topped off again.
Once more, the light kept coming on. The service adviser was no help, had no advice.
Another couple weeks pass by and the light kept coming on on downhills, so again I went to the dealership. Fluid topped off, brakes were fine. I've noticed no leaks in my driveway and neither had the service techs. Topped off fluids, and again the fiasco continues. I DON'T WANT TO DIE by brake or clutch failure!! Help please. Ford sure isn't doing much.
